By adding layers to the video, Applause Academy was able to create rain, lightening, and waves, creating the full effects of being in a storm via moving imagery. In this scene, the video started off with the waves crashing against the boat. "Prince Eric’s ship seemed to float on the sea with video motion." Stock footage was purchased and edited together to create the effects of movement, storms, and swimming that created a new dimension for the performance.
